High Salary Outfielders

Mike Trout $5000 – Trout is the best position player in baseball right now and is already averaging 14.88 fantasy points per game. He has two home runs, eight runs batted in, and five runs batted in on the year and Trout gets a favorable matchup against A.J. Griffin and his 10.80 earned run average. His salary is a tough price to swallow, but if you find a way to fit him into your lineup, his production will pay off. ***

Charlie Blackmon $4500 – The Rockies have the best matchup today as a team and Blackmon gets an even better matchup being a left handed batter. He has two home runs since Saturday, six runs batted in and four runs scored on the year, as well as one stolen base. Blackmon has the hot stick on the team and should be at the core of the Rockies stack today. ****

George Springer $4000 – Springer is leading the league in home runs this season with five dingers already. He is smashing the ball more than any other hitter in the game right now and gets a decent matchup against Yovani Gallardo and the Seattle Mariners. It will be tough for him to keep this home run pace up like he has, but there is no reason to doubt that he can’t hit another bomb tonight with the streak that he is on. **
