1. Can Mason Rudolph win the Heisman Trophy?

The biggest reason for the Oklahoma State faithful to get excited about the upcoming college football season is their star quarterback Mason Rudolph. He came back to Stillwater for his senior year. Look for him to do amazing things this fall in the Big 12.

Rudolph has been the starter in Stillwater for the last two seasons. He has completed 62.3 percent of his passes for 8,714 yards, 55 touchdowns and 17 interceptions in his college career with the Cowboys. His career quarterback rating of 154.1 is impressive, as is his career yards per attempt of 9.4.

In short, Rudolph has to be one of the better returning signal callers in the Power 5. Should his Cowboys dominate the Big 12, there is a great chance he could be asked to join the best players in the country in New York for the 2017 Heisman Trophy ceremony.
