Corey Davis

Wide Receiver, Western Michigan Broncos

The Tennessee Titans are going to crush this NFL Draft, or they should. Tennessee has the No. 5 pick in the NFL Draft as well, projected to take Ohio State cornerback Marshon Lattimore with that pick the Titans are getting from the Los Angeles Rams.

Obviously the Titans need to continue to get better out on the perimeter and should look to do more of the same with their own pick at No. 18. While he could be off the board as early as the top-10, should Western Michigan Broncos wide receiver Corey Davis fall to No. 18, that is the pick for the Titans to make.

Davis, Clemson’s Mike Williams, and Washington’s John Ross are all first-round talents in this wide receiving class. Williams has the highest NFL ceiling, so he’d be the first wideout off the board in this draft. Ross is probably the No. 3 wideout in this class, but his fit with Baltimore at No. 16 is ideal.

Davis would get to join a playoff contending team in the Titans. He will have a franchise quarterback in Marcus Mariota slinging him the pigskin. Head coach Mike Mularkey is a great offensive coach. Keep in mind that offensive coordinator Terry Robiskie had been one of the best wide receivers coaches in football for well over a decade before taking this new role with the Titans. There is a lot to love about Davis to the Titans. It’d be cool if he went to them at No. 18.
