Ryan Ramczyk

Offensive Tackle, Wisconsin Badgers

Here is another team that has no choice about where to use their first-round pick. Then again, we are talking about the Seattle Seahawks, an organization that will comfortably spend a cool $8 million on an entire offensive line.

It’s doesn’t matter that they acquired a former first-round pick in Luke Joeckel in free agency. He’s not a first-round talent. Jacksonville could have told them that. Regardless, the Seahawks need to go with the best offensive linemen available at No. 26. With Cam Robinson and Forrest Lamp off the board, Seattle should go with Wisconsin Badgers offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk.

Offensive linemen from Wisconsin are usually ready to play in the NFL, as long as they are not named Peter Konz. Ramczyk could kick into guard if need be. He should be able to compete for a starting job right away in Seattle.

Seattle needs to overhaul its offensive line until its right. Otherwise, it will be a really sad day when quarterback Russell Wilson gets hurt behind that wet paper bag that is the Seahawks offensive live. Wilson needs to be healthy, otherwise what will the 12th Man have to cheer about? Let’s keep Seattle great by keeping Wilson upright.
