Taco Charlton

Defensive End, Michigan Wolverines

The last time some guy named Taco made it to the Dallas Cowboys’ facility, he had a deal to make. Taco McArthur had to sell the rights to DallasCowboys.com. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was very appreciative and TacoCorp made bank.

On April 27, Jones will be paying for his second Taco by drafting Michigan Wolverines defensive end Taco Charlton at No. 28. The Cowboys should again have one of the better teams in the NFC in 2017. However, they do need a pass rusher to help bolster their so-so defense.

Charlton has the explosiveness and the competitiveness to make an impact right away in the Cowboys defense. The rest of the Cowboys team looks to be in solid shape. Getting more dynamic out on the edge would help Dallas get to the 2017 NFC Championship Game.

While their previous Big Ten pass rusher Randy Gregory has been more of a headache than anything, Dallas has had great success in recent years using its first round picks on players from that conference. Travis Frederick went to Wisconsin, Ezekiel Elliott went to Ohio State. Everybody likes tacos and a lot of people like the Cowboys. This makes too much sense for it not to happen.
