High Value Outfielders

Joc Pederson $2800 – Pederson is hitting .250 with one home run, six runs batted in, and three runs scored. From a fantasy point perspective, Pederson has not done much since the first game of the season, but I think that changes tonight as the Diamondbacks righty Zach Greinke will struggle to hold the Dodgers offense down and Pederson has another big night. **

Mitch Haniger $2600 – Haniger has vaulted himself into the front running position for Rookie of the Year if he continues his early season success. Batting .250, he has three home runs, six runs batted in, and ten runs scored already. He gets a great matchup tonight against the Rangers lefty Martin Perez and will be looking to raise his 15.50 fantasy points per game even higher. ***

Example Lineup

SP: Julio Teheran – Atlanta Braves

C: Jason Castro – Minnesota Twins

1B: Freddie Freeman – Atlanta Braves

2B: Jonathan Villar – Milwaukee Brewers

3B: Miguel Sano – Minnesota Twins

SS: Zack Cozart – Cincinnati Reds

OF: Adam Duvall – Cincinnati Reds

OF: Lorenzo Cain – Kansas City Royals

OF: Joc Pederson – Los Angeles Dodgers

Each one of my picks is ranked on a scale of one to five stars. The more stars that a pick receives represents the level of confidence I have in that selection. Players that receive five stars (*****) should be considered must start players, where as players with one star (*) are options that should only be considered in low price ranges.
