FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 18
High Salary PG
Chris Paul, LAC vs UTA ($9200): Paul popped for 25 points, 11 assists, seven rebounds and three steals in the Game 1 loss to the Jazz. He also hit what would have been the bucket that sent the game to overtime, if not for Joe Johnson’s buzzer beater at the other end. Paul is playing at a high level, with eight straight games of 39.5 fantasy points or higher, including three over 50 fantasy points. ****
Isaiah Thomas, BOS vs CHI ($8500): Thomas was visibly emotional on Sunday, the day after his sister’s death, but still responded with a strong 33 point, six assist, six rebound effort in 38 minutes. It has been announced that Thomas will play in Game 2, then leave to go to Washington after the game. He carries an expected value in the low 40s of fantasy points into the game. ****
Kyle Lowry, TOR vs MIL ($7600): Lowry is interesting. He has a reputation for disappearing in the playoffs, though he had some strong efforts last season to try to dispel that characterization. However, his four point, six assist, two rebound effort in Game 1 have the criticisms re-started. His price is incredibly low for a player that scored between 45 and 50 fantasy points in two of the last three full games he played in the regular season and that averaged about 40 fantasy points in his three regular season outings against the Bucks. ***
