First Base

High Salary Option

Carlos Santana $3700 – Santana gets one of the best hitting matchups of the night as he faces the Twins lefty Adalberto Mejia. Mejia has been allowing both left and right handed batters to smash the ball against him and he only strikes out opposing batters nine percent of the time so you know Santana is going to make contact with a ball. The Indians are projected one of the highest implied run totals of the day and Santana will be a major part of that. ****

High Value Option

Greg Bird $2700 – Bird is hitting just .121 on the season with one home run, two runs batted in, and two scores. He gets a favorable matchup tonight against the White Sox righty Dylan Covey, as he only strikes out opposing batters four percent of the time. Bird is almost guaranteed to make contact with a pitch every at bat, and that gives him a chance to rebound tonight. **

Third Base

High Salary Option

Kris Bryant $3900 – Bryant is hitting just .228 this year with two home runs, eight runs batted in, six runs scored, and three stolen bases. Even with his low batting average, he is still putting up fantasy points as he has had a couple big games lately. Tonight he gets a fantastic matchup against the Brewers lefty Tommy Milone at home. Milone allows right handed batters to slash .370 against him and will be dragging his 7.36 earned run average on to the mound with him. ****

High Value Option

Evan Longoria $3100 – Longoria has had two big games this year, producing a home run in both, but not much else to show for this season so far. However, he gets a great matchup tonight against the Tigers righty Jordan Zimmerman and his 5.06 earned run average. Zimmerman has allowed right handed batters to hit .369 against him, putting Longoria in a good spot tonight. ***
