High Salary and Value SF

LeBron James, CLE at IND ($11,300): James scored 55.5 fantasy points in Game 2, after 61.7 fantasy points in Game 1. He is firmly in Playoffs LeBron mode, and also tends to play well against the Pacers in general. The competition with Paul George seems to bring out the best in LeBron, and he has had to play at this level because the Pacers have kept the games competitive enough to force him to average 42.5 minutes played in the first two games. ****

Paul George, IND vs CLE ($10,000): George scored 50.1 fantasy points in Game 2 against the Cavaliers, improving from his strong 43.5 fantasy points in Game 1. He hasn’t backed down an inch in his battle against LeBron James, and on Thursday gets to take the next chapter on his home court. Including his 72.3 fantasy point effort in an overtime game against the Cavs less than three weeks ago, George is averaging about 55 fantasy points in his last three games against them. ****

Kawhi Leonard, SA at MEM ($8600): Leonard scored 49.2 fantasy points in Game 2 against the Grizzlies, after scoring 45.1 fantasy points in Game 1. His two-game fantasy scoring average is actually slightly higher than Paul George’s, but Leonard continues to be $1400 cheaper. The next game is in Memphis, but Leonard is averaging over 50 fantasy points in his three games against the Grizzlies in April which still makes him a strong play. *****

Khris Middleton, MIL vs TOR ($5900): Middleton turned in 28 fantasy points in Game 2, remarkably similar to the 27.9 fantasy points he scored in Game 1 or the 27.6 fantasy points that he scored against the Raptors in his last regular season meeting in early March. His expected value for Game 3 seems clear, though he still has clear upside if he can combine some of his scoring/rebounding prowess shown in Game 2 (20 points, five rebounds) with the penchant to distribute the ball shown in Game 1 (nine assists, zero turnovers). ***
