Corner Infielders

First Basemen

High salary option

Anthony Rizzo ($5,100): Rizzo is riding a 10-game hitting streak currently, and is coming fresh off extending that streak via a three-run homer on Friday night. He is hitting .308 on the year against left-handers and is always a nice play in the friendly confines of Great American Ballpark.

High value option

Jose Abreu ($4,000): With a nice track record against Carlos Carrasco, Abreu is value grab at $4,000 on the day. While the Sox could struggle as a whole, he is worth the savings flier in a day when most top options are priced much higher on the board.

Rank Em:

  1. Rizzo
  2. Chris Davis ($4,500)
  3. Hanley Ramirez ($4,600)
  4. Matt Carpenter ($4,700)
  5. Freddie Freeman ($4,600)

Third Basemen

High Salary Option

Kris Bryant ($5,100): Everything jives together here for a strong day from Bryant. He hammers lefties through his career, has the joy of taking his swings in Great American Ballpark today and is facing a pitcher that he owned in his only previous game against him. Bryant went 3-for-4 with a home run against Cody Reed previously and will look for an encore today.

High Value Option

Chase Headley ($3,100): Headley is cooling down some, but is still making his way to base on a daily basis. He has hit in nine of his last 10 games, and comes in with a nice price tag on the day that will allow you to spend high elsewhere if tempted.

Rank Em:

  1. Bryant
  2. Manny Machado ($4,700)
  3. Miguel Sano ($4,300)
  4. Jedd Gyorko ($3,900)
  5. Justin Turner ($3,700)
