30 worst NBA playoff teams of all time
17. 2012-13 Milwaukee Bucks
For most bad playoff teams, they are hardly ever remembered. However, no one is ever going to forget the 2012-13 Milwaukee Bucks for a couple of awesome reasons that are still brought up to this day.
First off, the Bucks had one of the best slogans ever with “Fear the Deer”. That alone endeared them to everyone — they were a No. 8 seed but also carried around the best postseason slogan in the NBA. Secondly, Brandon Jennings made his infamous “Bucks in six” quote before they took on LeBron James and the Miami Heat dynasty. That phrase is still used to this day and Jennings made himself famous for his bravado.
The Bucks were swept by a far superior team as expected but they made sure that they were going to make a show of it before they were eliminated. Every time someone makes a reference about a team winning in six games, it’s going to be thanks in part to the 2012-13 Bucks. They were a bad playoff team but a great slogan machine and that is all that matters here.
