5. 1966-67 Chicago Bulls

It almost isn’t fair to put them on the list because this was their inaugural season as a franchise, but the 1966-67 Chicago Bulls were a bad playoff team. That certainly is no knock on what they accomplished, as making the playoffs in their first year as a franchise is nothing short of impressive. Still,

The 1966-67 New York Knicks were a bad playoff team with a losing record. In case anyone is wondering just how terrible this team was, they entered the playoffs with a 33-48 record. It takes a special type of team to have losing streaks of eight and nine during the season and still make it into the playoffs.

The Bulls didn’t make much noise in the playoffs either. The team was swept by the St. Louis Hawks and their first year as a franchise was put on ice. Surprisingly, this wasn’t even the worst Bulls team to ever make the playoffs.
