2. 1967-68 Chicago Bulls

A year after their inaugural season and making the playoffs with a horrible record, the Bulls made sure to keep the playoff streak alive. For the second time in two years as a franchise, Chicago was back in the postseason

However, this team was worse than the first year and still finding their way. At 29-53, the Bulls finished 24 games under .500 and yet managed to still make it into the Western Division playoffs.

Bob Boozer was still the man in Chicago and he was surrounded by an army of role players. While they were fortunate enough to make the playoffs again, this wasn’t just a bad playoff team but a bad team in general.

With only six teams in each conference at the time, a bad team was bound to get in on both sides. It was just the nature of the beast. It also meant playing the best teams a ton and with the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics loaded with talent, it meant getting beaten repetitively.

The plight of early basketball certainly led to some crazy stats on both ends of the spectrum. That spectrum of course being able to get into the postseason with such a terrible record. They can at least say they come nowhere close to the worst playoff team off all time.
