Utah will be attempting to even the series at home in Game 4. Much like they were able to in game one, Los Angeles secured a win without a star player and established momentum in the series. The Jazz needs to seize that momentum and avoid going down 3-1. Unless they suddenly sign Josh Smith to take the series back, it would be a formidable task to try to win three in a row against a team led by Chris Paul.

For Los Angeles, they will do what they have done during Griffin’s previous absences. Chris Paul-DeAndre Jordan pick and rolls surrounded by shooting has been relied upon predominantly when that has happened, and both of those players will attempt to do more to shoulder the load. What remains to be seen is exactly how the power forward minutes will shake out; Speights and Pierce dominated those minutes during the latter part of game three but the Clippers could elect to play small. This is a pivotal game in the series and it will be another toughly contested game.
