While Game 4 isn’t technically a must-win game for the Oklahoma City Thunder, it’s pretty darn close. Being down 2-1 obviously isn’t as bad as 3-0 but they certainly don’t want to head back to Houston being just one game away from elimination. The Rockets were 30-11 at the Toyota Center this season, good for a tie for third in the league, and Oklahoma City went just 19-22 on the road so it’s imperative that they get a win on Sunday. To do that, they’ll need to play just as well as they did in Game 3. And their Game 3 performance was impressive. As I already discussed, Russell Westbrook was much more in control and kept his teammates involved throughout the entire game. He finally got some help from his supporting cast and they all stayed aggressive for the full 48 minutes, hitting the glass hard and forcing the Rockets to turn the ball over at some very inopportune times. They were making the extra pass, staying patient on the offensive end and just had a great flow throughout.

James Harden is going to get his, that much we know, but Patrick Beverley needs to have a nice bounceback game. He was a big reason why the Rockets had the 2-0 lead in the series in the first place and they need him in there, not only to score a few points but more importantly to try and get under the skin of Russell Westbrook, something that he can do better than just about anyone else in the NBA. Also wanting to bounce back will be Capela and Nene, who both had an off night on Friday. The Houston bench has been fantastic for the most part and I expect another solid effort from them. Lou Williams and Eric Gordon have been shooting the basketball very well and are still the types of weapons that the Thunder just don’t have. I still think Houston has the overall edge in this series but the Thunder showed a lot of grit and heart to claw their way back into this thing.

Let’s take a look at how you can watch Game 4.

Date: Sunday, April 23
Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Venue: Chesapeake Energy Arena
TV Info: ABC
Live stream: Watch ESPN app

Outside of the 31-point blowout by Houston in Game 1, this has been a very entertaining series to watch, which most people were expecting. The last two games were decided by a total of six points and another close game on Sunday wouldn’t be a surprise. Chesapeake Energy Arena is bound to be rocking once again and the Thunder will need that energy to even up this series. As for the Rockets, they’ll follow the cool-as-ice lead of James Harden and hope to head back home with just one win to go.
