Pittsburgh was one step away from the Super Bowl, only to be knocked back by the Patriots. After a typically quiet offseason, the Steelers have a few problems to fix. The offense should be more loaded than ever with the expected return of receiver Martavis Bryant from his indefinite suspension that wiped out his 2016 season. The defense is really the focus here for Pittsburgh, which improved to 12th in yardage allowed but remains susceptible against the pass.
After selecting Artie Burns and Sean Davis in the first two rounds last spring, the Steelers should down down and get another quality piece for the secondary. Budda baker fits the bill, showcasing elite talent at Washington. Baker is only 195 pounds but hits like a truck, and displays great instincts. The former Huskies standout fits the Pittsburgh mold of tough and savvy, to go along with his speed. Baker provides great versatility as he can play the robber position along with center fielder in a Cover 1 scheme.
