9. Utah – Will they finally win the Pac-12 South?

For those that are well aware of the Pac-12 South and the way life works in the division, it’s a cannibal carnival. Teams eat each other up and there’s almost little to no consistency with the standings each season.

One team that has managed to avoid becoming one with the insane is Utah. Kyle Whittingham has made the Utes one of the most consistent programs in the conference and they are rock solid each and every year.

Surprisingly enough, despite being the most consistent team in their division, they are the only team that has yet to win it. They have not represented the Pac-12 South in the conference championship and that is almost impossible to believe.

Last year looked like it had potential, but a bad loss to Oregon and losing to Colorado sealed their fate. This team has been close time and time again but seems to just miss it each year. Sooner or later, this team is going to push through and make it.

Whittingham has built a tremendous environment as a head coach and his team is a threat every year. Is there any reason 2017 can’t be the season the Utes finally push through and win the Pac-12 South?
