High Salary C

Rudy Gobert, UTA at LAC ($9700): Gobert returned in Game 4 from the knee injury that had sidelined him for the first three games of the series, and scored 34.1 fantasy points in 24 minutes. He clearly has the ability to play at a high level, but he did have a minutes restriction in Game 4 and it isn’t clear whether that will be the case moving forward. With his price tag being near the max, question marks are not ideal. **

DeAndre Jordan, LAC vs UTA ($8400): Jordan had his first game in the series in which he was playing without Blake Griffin as well as facing Rudy Gobert. He responded with his worst game in the series thus far, 25.5 fantasy points after averaging about 35 fantasy points in the first three games. Gobert is enough of a monster in the middle that Jordan is risky moving forward, but the Clippers will need him to play well for them to have a chance. **

Marc Gasol, MEM at SA ($7900): Gasol scored 31.4 fantasy points in Game 4, including the game-winning bucket in overtime. He has scored between 25.7 and 44 fantasy points in each of the four games, with an expected value in the low-mid 30s that does underperform his price tag. ***

High Value C

Clint Capela, HOU vs OKC ($6000): Capela scored 9.5 fantasy points in 18 minutes in Game 4, his second straight game under 15 fantasy points. Prior to that, he was good for a score in the mid-upper 20s for much of the previous month. His price tag is solid for what he was producing before the series went to Oklahoma, but now there is an element of risk. He is returning home for Game 5, though, so if that plays a part in his production he should get a boost. **

Steven Adams, OKC at HOU ($5300):  Adams woke up with his best effort of the season in Game 4, scoring 35.4 fantasy points in 37 minutes after averaging closer to 17 fantasy points in 27 minutes of the first three games. Adams’ Game 4 performance is not out of line with what he did in the regular season against the Rockets, so it’s not necessarily a fluke, but based on how he’s played in the playoffs it would be risky to expect him to repeat that level in Game 5. **

Nene Hilario, HOU vs OKC ($5200): Nene exploded for 42.5 fantasy points in 25 minutes in Game 4, way up from his roughly 18 fantasy point in about 20 minutes that he averaged in the first three games of the series. He has played well against the Thunder all season, but this game seems to be an outlier and not something to rely upon moving forward. ***
