4) Will Ospreay

A man who could possibly be described as the best high flyer in the entire world, Will Ospreay is currently one of the greatest exports that Great Britain has to offer.

Having become a household name on his native shores with everyone from Progress to Rev Pro to IPW:UK and many more, Ospreay has also wrestled for New Japan Pro Wrestling, EVOLVE, Ring of Honor and TNA amongst others across the globe. In 2016 Ospreay was the first Englishman to win the New Japan Best of Super Juniors Tournament.

Ospreay caught the attention of many around the world for his match with Ricochet during that tournament, and has built upon that win to become one of the first names mentioned when talking about the current best in the world.

It feels like Ospreay has been on the scene for a long time, but at only 23 years of age his best years are still in front of him. You have to witness his matches to actually believe some of what he does is possible. Some of his aerial maneuvers defy gravity as well as making you doubt what the human body is capable of.

NXT is missing someone of Ospreay’s style. While the top of the NXT card seems to currently be filled with men like Drew McIntyre and Bobby Roode, a man of Ospreay’s caliber would instantly slot into the main event picture. When his NJPW and ROH contracts are up it is highly likely that WWE will come calling for the man from Essex.
