Garett Bolles

OT, Utah

The New York Giants took a major step forward in 2016, making the playoffs for the first time in five years. In a complete reversal of the year before, the team was actually led by their defense, who played extremely well for first-year head coach Ben McAdoo. As the calendar changes to 2017, the Giants need help on offense, and more specifically, their offensive line.

This draft does not have a clear top offensive tackle, but there is plenty of talent to choose from. Garett Bolles is a guy who has been through a lot in his life, and plays with incredible passion on the football field. He may not stay at left tackle in the NFL, but he certainly has the desire to be the best offensive lineman on the field at all times.

Bolles has the size and feet to stay on the left side at the next level, and offensive tackle is definitely a weakness on this current Giants roster. The Giants need to do a better job protecting Eli Manning, as he is starting to get up there in age. If this offense can play to its potential this season, the Giants should be back in the playoffs, with their sights set on advancing past the Wild Card Round.
