Leonard Fournette

RB, LSU

The Jacksonville Jaguars made a bunch of splashes this offseason, as, like they did last year, brought in some veteran talent along the defensive side of the ball. The players they brought in last year did not pan out, and the hope is guys like Calais Campbell and A.J. Bouye can finally make the Jags a playoff team. The big question mark will once again be quarterback Blake Bortles, who took a major step back in his development last season.

With questions surround Bortles, the Jaguars need to do something to improve the running back position. Hopefully, Bortles takes a step in the right direction in 2017, but if not, they could be looking for his replacement in next year’s draft. At No. 4, the Jaguars should look to bring in Leonard Fournette, who was one of the best backs in the country during his time at LSU.

The Jaguars already have T.J. Yeldon and Chris Ivory on the roster, but neither can really be considered a true RB1 at this point. The AFC South is a very winnable division this season, and Fournette running the ball will really give them an edge they need. Last year, the Jags were a sexy pick to win the division, and with the offseason they have had, they could actually live up to expectations in 2017.
