Starting Pitcher

High Salary Option

Max Scherzer ($12,700): Lot of things working in favor of big day for the reigning NL Cy Young Award winner. He is at home facing a Mets team that is down Yoenis Cespedes, while in turn being supported by baseball’s hottest offense. Scherzer has been even better thus far in 2017 than he was during his dominant 2016 year, as he’s in firing range of easily leading the NL in strikeouts and wins by the end of the night. Go forward confidently with Max tonight.

Carlos Carrasco ($10,200): Carrasco has been especially dominant early in the year, averaging a strikeout per inning while posting a WHIP below 1.00. He’ll get a nice pairing on Friday night against a Mariners team that as been up and down in its offensive production this year and has struggled to make consistent contact. It bodes well for an a pitcher that is allowing a .163 batting average against on the year.

High Value Option

Lance Lynn ($7,600): In his return year to the mound after coming back from Tommy John surgery, Lynn has been very consistent thus far. He should continue that stretch against a Reds team that is coming back to Earth some after a hot start. He has ran up 12 K’s in his last 13 innings, while allowing a single run.

Rank Em:

  1. Scherzer
  2. Carrasco
  3. Jake Arrieta ($9,600)
  4. Anderson
  5. Lance Lynn ($7,600)

Catcher

High Salary Option

Buster Posey ($3,800): Posey has a strong start to the year that has been largely an exception to what the rest of the Giants club has produced. So it is somewhat understandable that his peripherals limit his run scoring ability, thus lowering his cost on a nightly basis. But with a peach of a game coming up against Luis Perdomo on deck, he’s price to sell for tonight.

High Value Option

Salvador Perez ($3,300): Salyy  has not been particularly hot of late, but falls in a great situation tonight against the struggling Kyle Gibson and the Minnesota Twins. Gibson will walk a 9.00 ERA into Friday night, which could stand to be a launching pad for Perez amid the reeling Royals’ lineup.

Rank Em:

  1. Posey
  2. Brian McCann ($3,300)
  3. Evan Gattis ($3,700)
  4. Jonathan Lucroy ($4,100)
  5. Perez
