2017 NFL Draft: Detroit Lions final grade
Tabor has the tape of a first rounded and the off-field questions of a third or fourth rounder. He is a headcase off of the field, has a few failed drug tests, and ran a very slow forty yard dash. It showed on tape that he does not have deep speed by how often he play off coverage. However, Tabor has great recognition, great ball skills and quick to feet to make plays on the ball. He will have a chance to compete right away and try to win an outside job this season over DJ Hayden. Do not be surprised if he is starting by the end of the season.
Golladay is a small school wide receiver who was under-recruited and had to play Junior College ball. From there, he played with a running back for a quarterback at Northern Illinois. Golladay is a player with very high upside and a great frame to be a deep threat and red zone asset. He can remind Lions fans of Corey Fuller with an even higher ceiling. For now, he will be behind Marvin Jones on the depth chart but do not be surprised if he has a few touchdown receptions as a rookie.
