Second Round

49

Ryan Anderson

Outside Linebacker, Alabama Crimson Tide

The Alabama Crimson Tide can definitely send some players to the NFL under head coach Nick Saban’s watch. What they can do at the next level is debatable, but one guy that could have a better NFL career than expected is outside linebacker Ryan Anderson.

Washington took him at No. 49 in the second round. While Anderson may never become a star player coming off the edge, he can be a multi-sack artist on a contending Redskins team for the next several years. If he has his health, it doesn’t seem like Anderson will bust at the next level.

Third Round

81

Fabian Moreau

Cornerback, UCLA Bruins

One player that scouts seemed to love was UCLA Bruins cornerback Fabian Moreau. He was considered to be one of the best players at the East-West Shrine. How he didn’t get an invite to the Senior Bowl didn’t make a lot of sense.

Washington wisely took a fluid cornerback back in Moreau at No. 81 in the third round. He is coming off an injury, but don’t expect Washington to rush him back. Moreau will have his opportunities to play opposite of Norman at the other corner spot to close out the decade in the nation’s capital.
