Derrius Guice

RB, LSU

If the Cleveland Browns hang on to both of their first round picks in 2018, they will have selected five players in the first round over the last two drafts. They did a nice job in 2017, filling three huge holes on their roster, and we expect them to grab an offensive lineman with their first pick in 2018. With their second pick, look for them to pick up an elite running back, and LSU’s Derrius Guice is just the man for the job.

Isaiah Crowell has been a nice player for the Browns, but his ceiling is very limited. The Browns are building something good right now, and bringing in a feature back like Guice would help their second round pick from 2017, DeShone Kizer develop nicely. Guice led the SEC in rushing yards while serving as Leonard Fournette’s backup last season, and will likely be a Heisman candidate in 2017.

With the drafting of Kizer this year, it is clear the Browns are building for the 2018 NFL season. By the time they get there, they will have added five incredible first round talents to their roster, making them a legitimate contender in the AFC North. Guice can really make a big play happen every time he touches the ball, and with the Browns, he would be in a nice situation with both he and Crowell in the backfield.
