Bo Scarbrough

RB, Alabama

The Denver Broncos had two pretty big holes on their offense in 2016, and they did a nice job of correcting one during the 2017 NFL Draft. With their first round pick, the Broncos selected offensive tackle Garret Bolles from Utah, solidifying one of their two spots at that position. One area they failed to address is running back, where they got pretty much nothing out of their unit last season.

In 2016, the Broncos spent a first round pick on Paxton Lynch, a quarterback out of Memphis. He is expected to be the starter in the near future, so there is no way they grab another arm here. Expect them to finally draft a running back in 2018, and Bo Scarbrough from Alabama has the kind of game that will play well for the fans in Denver.

Scarbrough is a tough runner, and he showed during the national title game that he can show up in big games. This Broncos team is built to win now on defense, but they are never going to get back to the Super Bowl if they cannot run the ball. Scarbrough is a guy who can come in and run the ball 25-plus times per game, and with an improved offensive line in front of him, he should have no problems being an impact player at the next level.
