Game 1 of the 2017 Western Conference Playoffs between the No. 2 Spurs and the No. 3 Rockets will be on Monday, May 1. Tipoff from the AT&T Center in San Antonio will be at 9:30 p.m. ET. According to OddsShark.com, the Spurs will be laying 5.5 points to the visiting Rockets in Game 1. The associated moneylines in Game 1 will be San Antonio -220 and Houston +200. This game’s over/under comes in at a combined 213 points.
Houston has gone 45-41-1 against the spread the season, while San Antonio has gone 45-41-2 against the spread this season. Though Houston can put up points better than just about anybody, probably go with the under in this game since it is on San Antonio’s hardwood. For Houston to win this series, the Rockets will need to come out swinging immediately. Not saying the Rockets will steal Game 1, but take them getting points to keep it real interesting into the final seconds.
