4. Decide on a point guard

Jeff Teague is a free agent this summer and the Pacers will need to decide whether they want to commit to him. His facilitation helped their offense but he wasn’t a volume outside shooter to help space the floor when the ball was in George’s hands, and his defense was a huge problem against the Cavs.

If the Pacers decide to go in a different direction, Jrue Holiday could be the answer. Holiday has made the playoffs with the Pelicans just once in his tenure and could possibly be looking for a change of scenery. Last season, he averaged 15.4 points and 7.3 assists per game. Although he is a shoot-first guard, he possesses great ball-handling and ball-distribution skills. Holiday has experience playing with a superstar in Anthony Davis.

Whichever way the Pacers choose to go, a reliable point guard must be in the recipe for success.
