$10,000+

Dustin Johnson ($12,000): Call it hard-hitting analysis, but there’s every reason in the world to want Dustin Johnson in your lineup. He’s been an absolute monster and even a month off after getting injured at The Masters is going to stop that. He may not have won at the Wells Fargo, but he continued a streak of top-five finishes. There’s a reason he’s the most expensive player available. He’s the World No. 1 and has been proving it week in and week out.

Rory McIlroy ($11,200): McIlroy hasn’t been exceptionally active this year, but he’s been money when he has played. Two seventh place finishes (including one at The Masters), a fourth place finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and coming in second at the BMW SA Open makes him well worth the price. He will definitely play well this weekend and should be in contention for the win.

Just a side-note about someone other than McIlroy, but Jordan Spieth is the only above $10,000 player not featured here. I don’t like his inconsistency and ball-striking of late.

Sergio Garcia ($10,200): The last time we saw ol’ Sergio, he was winning The Masters. That’s not a bad taste to leave in your mouth in the slightest. However, he’s also been playing very well this year as a whole. Garcia also has a long and great history at Sawgrass working in his favor. He’s the winner pick for many coming into The PLAYERS, and it’s hard to hate that logic given everything that’s in play here.
