$7,000 – $8,000

Matt Kuchar ($7,900): The Valero Texas Open wasn’t Kuchar’s finest moment in his last time playing as he’s much better than his T40 finish. With that said, he had a T11 at the RBC Heritage and tied-fourth place finish at The Masters preceding that. He’s as reliable as they come and should be a solid play at this price.

Francesco Molinari ($7,700): As you’d expect, Molinari isn’t a player that’s going to blow you away. However, he has just one finish outside of the top 25 in his last six outings, which came at The Masters. He’s a reliable player that will frustrate you with a few bad rounds, but will supplement them with strong ones.

Patrick Cantlay ($7,700): Cantlay’s last outing saw him tie for third at the RBC Heritage Open. He’s been flirting with top-fives all season, and hasn’t been atrocious when he hasn’t been at the top of the leaderboard. I really like the value here on DraftKings.

Tyrell Hatton ($7,600): I went in on Hatton for The Masters and he butchered his showing there with a whopping eight points on DraftKings. However, he’s played very well in 2017 as a whole and is capable of putting up very low numbers. I like for him to showcase that at Sawgrass.

Russell Knox ($7,600): With two-straight top-20s to his credit at The PLAYERS, you really have to like the floor for Knox coming into this event. He hasn’t been playing particularly well overall. However, he has a knack for turning it on at Sawgrass.

Phil Mickelson ($7,400): Lefty forever. He’s not been lights-out at 46 years old this season, but he’s been better than most players that age should be. He’s finished in the top 25 numerous times, including the last two times he was on the course. With a nice history at Sawgrass, dip into the Mickelson well once again.

Daniel Berger ($7,300): Berger hasn’t been lights-out either, but he’s played strongly enough in his last three tournaments, not finishing lower than 36th and with a fifth-place showing at the Shell Houston Open. At this price, you’re going to have risk, but he’s a solid choice.

Martin Kaymar ($7,300): If you’re looking for reliability at this price, Kaymar has you covered. He hasn’t missed a cut in 2017 and has finished outside of the top 25 just twice all season. He could be a steal here with upside and an almost lock to play into Sunday.

Hudson Swafford ($7,100): At both the Wells Fargo and The Masters, Swafford has been on my radar and has been lackluster at each. With that said, he’s got three top-10 finishes this year already and has the potential to get back into form and have a nice weekend at The PLAYERS. For what he costs on DraftKings, he’s still a nice play.
