Khalil Mack

Outside Linebacker, Oakland Raiders

To further raise awareness that the Raiders won’t be playing in Oakland for very long, why not put the best player on the Raiders on the cover of Madden this season? Quarterback Derek Carr is incredible, but he will have future Madden opportunities once he’s probably winning Super Bowls for Las Vegas.

Since he don’t know how long his prime will be and that he plays on the other side of the ball, let’s put Raiders All-Pro outside linebacker Khalil Mack on the cover. When was the last time a member of the Silver and Black graced the cover of Madden? Exactly.

The only thing that would make Madden 18 better than having Mack on the cover is having Mark Morrison’s “Return of the Mack” as the featured song on the soundtrack. We have to bring the backbeat back. Mack on the attack on the outside for the Raiders pass rush. It is without question that he garners a 99 Madden rating in 2018.

There are other pass rushers in the NFL that are better known nationally than Mack, including Von Miller of the Denver Broncos and J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans. However, the Raiders brand is strong, the team is good and Mack needs to be elevated to superstardom now. The guy is incredible!
