High Salary and Value C

Al Horford, BOS vs CLE ($8000): Horford scored 30.7 fantasy points in Game 7 of the series against the Wizards, his fifth effort in the series of between 30 and 46 fantasy points. He has played well all postseason long, building a strong all-around game with steady scoring, and thus has a solid expected value at home in Game 1. ****

Pau Gasol, SA vs GS ($6100): Gasol managed only  17.1 fantasy points in 16 minutes of Game 2, after 11.9 fantasy points in 16 minutes of Game 1. In both games, the Warriors’ small ball game pretty much kept him off the court. Gasol has played well, when he plays, since moving into the starting line-up in Game 2 of the Rockets series. But until he earns a bigger role in this series, he’s not worth anywhere near his price point. *

Tristan Thompson, CLE at BOS ($5100): Thompson has averaged 12 points and 12 rebounds in four games against the Celtics this season. He is big and athletic enough to help control the paint against a Celtics squad that lacks dominant size. ****

Kelly Olynyk, BOS vs CLE ($4800): Olynyk had the game of his life in Game 7, specifically in a huge fourth quarter, that ultimately led to a 35.8 fantasy point outing. This was an outlier game for Olynyk, who has averaged in the upper teens/low 20s of fantasy points for most of the playoffs. **

Potential Punt Plays: Javale McGee ($4000)
