30 replacements for Roger Goodell

20. Drew Pearson
Technically, several teams won in the 2017 NFL Draft. Pretty much every team but the Buffalo Bills and the Chicago Bears got better with their picks. However, two men definitely won the NFL Draft: Atlanta Falcons defensive end Takkarist McKinley and former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Drew Pearson.
McKinley was so amped to be drafted by the Falcons in the first round that he brought a framed photo of his grandmother up on the podium. There may have been a handful of joyous expletives coming out of his mouth, but it was a cool moment.
Pearson out-did him the next night. When announcing the Cowboys’ second-round pick, he perfectly trolled the Philadelphia Eagles fan base, as Philadelphia hates the Cowboys more than anything. When Pearson screamed “Chidobe Awuzie!”, football was never the same. In one minute, Pearson went from a relative unknown to a top-20 choice for NFL commissioner.
He just owned the draft. Pearson would definitely put the draft in Philadelphia every year and make sure the Cowboys take at least three players every year that would play in Key and Peele’s East-West Game. If Pearson didn’t have you at “Chidobe Awuzie!,” then you’re just not going to like him as NFL commissioner. That sounds like a you problem.
