5. Victor Cruz salsa

Victor Cruz likes to dance. He brought a little bit of that Latin American flair to the NFL via his signature salsa touchdown dance routine. Whether it’s that red sauce that makes tortilla chips taste amazing or Cruz’s slick dance moves, everybody likes salsa, especially New York Giants fans.

It is one of those few touchdown celebrations that the league has always been cool with. While it is clearly choreographed, Cruz has the fancy footwork to pull it off. He’s not just paying tribute to The King of Pop like former teammate Odell Beckham Jr. does, Cruz is representing way more than one really, really good Michael Jackson album from 1984.

Before the arrival of Beckham in 2014, Cruz was the most notable offensive weapon that Eli Manning noodle-armed the ball to when he wasn’t throwing cringeworthy picks. While Thriller is coolish, Cruz’s salsa dance is slightly more digestible than that awesome red sauce that makes chips delicious.

Cruz remains a free agent, as he is 100 percent responsible for all that went down on BoatGate. It would be a real shame if we don’t get to see Cruz do the salsa at least a few more times before he finally hangs up the spikes/dancing shoes.
