No. 1: The Duck of Oregon

Name of Show: Duck in Uniform

Network: Cartoon Network

Voiceover By: Will Ferrell

Since the end of World War II, Donald Duck has not only been synonymous with Walt Disney, but with the University of Oregon. The love triangle would be official during the proceeding decades, since it was understood that Walt Disney himself didn’t patent Donald Duck. In order to take advantage of this, the Oregon Ducks signed an agreement to use Donald as their mascot. (Rumor has it that Disney was once caught wearing a letterman’s jacket from Oregon.)

Duck in Uniform will follow the life of a job-hopping duck, who’s in a different uniform every two or so weeks. And boy, the duck’s seen it all. He’s cleaned out the grease traps at a local burger joint and has found TV dinners in the toy aisle. Donald’s also worked at an amusement park, whose uniform includes a top that looks to be taken straight out of Big Bird’s closet. Donald deserves a lot of sympathy because he’s a lost soul.

Unlike Donald, Will Ferrell is pretty sure and comfortable of himself. He’s stuck to one genre of film for his whole acting career and is a repeated favorite on late-night talk shows. Likewise, this wouldn’t be the first time that Ferrell’s worked with Cartoon Network. He played the father in The Oblongs, of which was discontinued after one season. That said, it would give Ferrell a second life as he gets to portray one of the most iconic, yet oddest, ducks of television history.
