My Best DraftKings fantasy golf picks for The Memorial Tournament

Stars and Studs

Dustin Johnson
Jon Rahm
Kyle Stanley
Sean O’Hair
Kevin Tway
Nick Taylor

Seasoned DraftKings fantasy golf players know the risks of the stars and studs lineup. There’s the bet on the sure thing at the top with Johnson and Rahm with a look at the high-value pool to fill out the rest of the lineup. Obviously there’s great risk in approaching the Memorial like this, but it could pay off big if the value plays hit.

A Stud, Four Mids, and A Value

Jon Rahm
Rickie Fowler
Ollie Schniederjans
Patrick Cantlay
Adam Hadwin
Jamie Lovemark

Obviously the key to a lineup constructed in this manner remains hitting on the value play, but you also need to pinpoint the best mid-tier players that you can make work. For the Memorial, Fowler being priced as he is makes this approach exceptionally enticing. There’s great value on the mid levels this week, so this might be a great tournament play.

The Loaded Middle

Adam Scott
Rickie Fowler
Emiliano Grillo
Bud Cauley
Tony Finau
Byeong-Hun An

Taking a look at the field and the pricing, the lineup you can put together by letting the top-tier players be is quite impressive. Again, the value of Fowler helps here. However, player like Cauley, Finau and even An have a ton of potential this week to balance out the upper-mid-tier players in this lineup.

My Ideal DraftKings Lineup

Jon Rahm
Matt Kuchar
Rickie Fowler
Adam Hadwin
Sean O’Hair
Nick Taylor

While I have faith in all of my value picks, these guys stand out in terms of Hadwin, O’Hair and Taylor. Their years have been quite good up to now and should continue to be. Combine that with Rahm as a top-tier guy and two upper-tier players that are decently priced and this lineup feels like a winner.
