1. Mangini needs to puncture all of David Tyree’s tires

We all remember the play. The Patriots were on the verge of a Super Bowl. Eli Manning was forced out the pocket, almost sacked by a Pats’ defender. He heaves as far as his arm can throw and there’s only one Giant in the vicinity. It’s Giants’ WR David Tyree, who’s shadowed by Patriots’ safety Rodney Harrison.

Tyree catches the ball on his helmet, without touching the ground. He made one of the best plays in Super Bowl history that led to Giants’ victory. If not for that amazing play and catch, the Patriots might very well have another Super Bowl in their resume.

So what does Eric Mangini have to do for Bill Belichick? For a fact, I know Belichick hates Tyree for that infamous play. So Mangini has to go to Tyree’s house and puncture all of the tires on his car. Also, the former Jets’ coach shouldn’t only have to do it once.

Every time Tyree decides to fill it up, Mangini should go back and flatten all the tires. That’ll help calm the nerves of Belichick and the Patriots’ fans who are still living that moment down.

Here you go, Eric Mangini. Here are five things that Bill Belichick should make you do so that you can reconcile the friendship that you desperately want. Are you up for it?
