Viktor Arvidsson scored on a beautiful breakaway for the Predators to take a 3-1 lead over the Penguins in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Matt Murray must really like to hear the chants from Nashville Predators fans telling him “It’s all your fault”, and Viktor Arvidsson just wanted to give him at least one more before the series heads back to Pittsburgh.

Murray, the Pittsburgh Penguins goalie, had given up a goal just a few shots earlier to give the Predators a 2-1 lead in the second period, and fell apart shortly after.

Arvidsson, for his first goal in 16 games, took advantage of a great, diving effort and pass from Mike Fisher leading to a breakaway, and put one past Murray to up the Predators’ lead to 3-1.

While Arvidsson’s shot was truly beautiful, the pass was really the highlight from the goal. It turned out to be a nice gift to Arvidsson from Fisher, even though Fisher’s the one celebrating a birthday today.

The goal was the Predators’ second in just four shots, and surely got the crowd going again after a short break from the last goal. The team is looking to even up the series in Game 4 after falling behind 2-0 in their first-ever Stanley Cup Finals, and has the chance to head back to Pittsburgh with a brand new series.

The Predators have gotten plenty of scoring from various members of their roster, while the Penguins haven’t been so fortunate. They finally got some scoring in a Stanley Cup Final game from Sidney Crosby, which was his first on the big stage in eight years since 2009.

If the scoring for the Predators stays at this rate, we’ll get at least one more game in Nashville in this series, and hopefully a ton more creative chants and high energy situations from the Predators fans in attendance.
