1. New York Knicks

The Knicks didn’t have much reason to smile this season as the additions of Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose soured, Carmelo Anthony had weekly drama and Kristaps Porzingis didn’t continue his ascension at the rate some had hoped. Oh yeah, they finished 31-51 and missed the playoffs too, but their consolation prize is adding a top-10 talent into the mold for 2017-18. If they continue this farce of forcing the triangle offense into existence, then they need shooters and Malik Monk is exactly that.

Courtney Lee led the way this year in terms of 3-point efficiency knocking down 40.1 percent on 1.4 makes per game. However, Carmelo Anthony finished with the 25th most 3-pointers made in the entire league at a 36 percent clip, so they have some capable shooters but not nearly enough. They finished 21st in 3-point efficiency hitting 34.8 percent from deep as a team, so adding more weapons to a perimeter desperately in need shooters is a must.
