4. Utah Jazz

Joe Johnson and Joe Ingles. The dynamic duo. The tornado twins. Iso Joe(s). Joe Joe Binks? Ok, that may have been a stretch.

Ingles and Johnson were the two shooting guards that started in the playoffs for the Jazz. The other guy, Rodney Hood, but he just came off a very inconsistent season. Granted Hood is only three years into his career, but if the Jazz want to win now, Redick should be high on their list for a free agent signing.

Utah has three major free agents this summer: George Hill, Ingles and Gordon Hayward. Hayward is supposed to bring in a max contract this summer and the Jazz are insistent upon trying to keep Hayward in Utah. Ingles has been serious about his intention to stay in Utah but it may not be his choice.

If the Jazz decide to pursue Redick in free agency then Ingles will have to hit the road, Jack. Or, if Ingles gets a big offer elsewhere, Redick might be a nice Plan B. The Jazz can’t afford to keep Ingles if they have Redick, Hood, and Johnson all in their lineup.

It’s interesting to think about Redick on the Jazz because he is a veteran floor spacer who can still play good defense and will fit into the Jazz’s system almost effortlessly. Though, it may not be possible for him to be a part of their team because of the Jazz’s cap situation.

But it sure is fun to think about.
