Hasbro reveals Transformers: The Last Knight Voyager Class Optimus Prime SDCC 2017 exclusive

This is one movie-based exclusive Transformers figure that has a more direct tie-in to the film than most.

With San Diego Comic-Con coming just a few short weeks after the release of Transformers: The Last Knight, it’s only logical that Hasbro has some plans for the show that involve the final Michael bay Transformers film.

This week, the company revealed a big one, unveiling the SDCC 2017 exclusive Transformers: The Last Knight Voyager Class Optimus Prime. Available exclusively at Booth #3329 at Comic-Con, the figure converts to Western Star truck mode just like in the movie, features a glossy, automotive-style finish and comes in special collectible packaging.

But that’s not the coolest part for movie buffs. As a free gift with purchase, anyone purchasing the Voyager Class Optimus Prime will receive an authentic piece of truck tire used in the making of The Last Knight, along with a certificate of authenticity from Western Star. Unless you were an extra in the movie (and kudos to you if you were), that’s about as close to the Transformers franchise as you can get.
