The Cleveland Cavaliers just can’t get their entire team to show up at the same time. Following Game 2 of these NBA Finals, or Game 1 for that matter, it was clear that Cleveland’s big three wasn’t getting much help from their supporting cast. J.R. Smith scored just three points in the first two games, Tristan Thompson scored eight and the bench was a non-factor.

LeBron James is going to do what LeBron James does and is having one of the all-time great NBA Finals performances. He’s averaging a triple-double and there’s nothing more that he can give. Kyrie Irving had his best game of the series on Wednesday night, putting up 38 points, and J.R. Smith finally had the game the Cavs needed from him with 16 points and five three-pointers. But what happened to Kevin Love? Love had been having an excellent series leading up to Game 3 and all of a sudden went cold. Yes, he pulled down 13 rebounds but he made just one of the nine shots he attempted and finished the night with nine points. He was averaging 21 going into Wednesday night.

If Cleveland can’t get all hands on deck on Friday night, this series is over. The Warriors have too many weapons and with just one victory to go, Kevin Durant can already feel that Larry O’ Brien Championship Trophy in his hands. He’ll likely be holding that and the NBA Finals MVP trophy late Friday night.
