$10,000+

Dustin Johnson ($12,000)
Again, the exploits of Dustin Johnson this season can’t be ignored. He has two missed cuts in 11 tournaments played. However, his two wins, seven top-10 finishes and five top-five finishes overshadow that. He’s been masterful this season and, despite having to withdraw from The Masters, will look to go back-to-back at the US Open.

Jordan Spieth ($11,500)
The elite level of play from Jordan Spieth has been inconsistent to this point, missing the cut in three of his last six tournaments. However, the three cuts that he’s made have seen him post a T13, a T2 and a T11 (at The Masters). Spieth is obviously one of the best players in the world and could be in contention at the US Open if he can get into a groove early.

Rory McIlroy ($11,200)
Rory McIlroy has been dealing with injuries this season, but says he’s fine heading into the US Open. If he’s anything close to the form he’s been in when he’s played on the PGA Tour, he’ll be in contention. Outside of a T35 at THE PLAYERS, he’s not finished worse than tied for seventh. As such, he’s a strong play even with such a big price tag.

Rickie Fowler ($10,500)
People might sour on Rickie Fowler because two of his last three showings have seen him miss the cut and finish tied for 60th. However, that doesn’t indicate his overall level of play. To date, Fowler is actually having one of the best seasons of his career. After tying for 11th at The Masters, Fowler could well capture his first major win.

Jon Rahm ($10,300)
Jon Rahm missed his first cut of the season the last time he played, struggling at the Memorial. With that being said, his 2017 season has been unforgettable to this point. He has a win and six top-10 finishes to his credit already this season and has simply been one of the best overall players in the world to this point. That he’s priced this low (even if it’s top-tier) makes him a steal on DraftKings.
