10 matches that could decide the Premier League title

8. Tottenham vs. Arsenal, Saturday, Feb. 10
Have Tottenham truly overtaken Arsenal as the dominant team in north London? A look at last season’s league table would indicate Spurs are leaving their rivals behind.
Finishing second while the Gunners missed out on a top-four finish for the first time under Wenger signalled an obvious power shift. So does Tottenham being unbeaten in their last six league meetings against Arsenal. Talk about the Mauricio Pochettino effect.
The Poch is supposed to be a cutting-edge manager, while Wenger is viewed by many as a relic of the past. Spurs are gearing up to enter a new stadium with a gifted, young squad loaded with burgeoning stars such as striker Harry Kane and creative midfielder Dele Alli.
By contrast, Wenger is struggling to keep together a team of contract rebels like Sanchez and Ozil, along with perpetual disappointments such as Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere.
Yet for all the talk of Spurs moving forward while the Gunners stagnate, it’s Arsenal who have won three FA Cups in the last four years. Meanwhile, Tottenham haven’t claimed a trophy since 2008.
The truth is Spurs will only leave the Gunners behind if this squad wins a Premier League title. Their chances will look a lot stronger if they strike another blow against their neighbours.
