Guards 

Chelsea Gray – Los Angeles Sparks ($6,000): Chelsea Gray has now fully established herself as the premier option in the Los Angeles backcourt. She averages nearly the same amount of minutes and touches as Alana Beard but she is averaging almost five more points per game. She has taken almost double the amount of shots that Beard has taken this season, as well. Let’s remember too that Los Angeles is playing San Antonio. Don’t get me wrong though, I still like Beard ($4,800) on Thursday night.

Kayla McBride – San Antonio Stars ($5,800): I don’t think that Los Angeles really cares about defense. Even though Kayla McBride is playing on a bad team, she is the glimmer of hope in their lineup. She leads the team in shots, minutes and points so don’t let the fact that she is on the Stars fool you, she is a good player. The Sparks are also having issues defending the 3-pointer, a shot that McBride isn’t afraid to take this season.

Layshia Clarendon – Atlanta Dream ($5,500): She came back to life against Seattle with 28 point fantasy points and I believe this will continue. So let me get this straight, she costed $7,200 on Tuesday even though she was in the middle of a cold streak but then she has a great game against the Storm and FanDuel lowers her price? I don’t get it but I’ll take it, especially against Indiana. If you are strapped for cash or want to get the big, expensive names into your roster, consider Bria Holmes ($4,400).

Jasmine Thomas/Courtney Williams – Connecticut Sun ($5,500): Lynetta Kizer and Morgan Tuck are both doubtful, Shekinna Stricklen is questionable with a bum ankle and Alex Bentley is out for the unforeseen future, just to name a few. As a result both Jasmine Thomas and Courtney Williams could be in line for a game that will see them play heavy minutes and be relied upon to take a big amount of shots. If Stricklen ($4,700) does play, I also like her as a bargain option after she posted a 19-point performance in her last game against Atlanta.
