4. Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings could be a nice breeding ground for the resurrection of Derrick Rose. Presuming that Rose’s most recent injury limited his market value, Rose could do what he does best out West with less pressure. With Darren Collison expected to leave in free agency and a clear rebuild coming, Rose could be a veteran presence to shepherd the new guards of Sacramento without them bottoming all the way out.

Rose could sign for somewhere in the $10-15 million range, and he could play 25-30 minutes a game while mentoring whoever Sacramento drafts with their fifth and tenth picks in the 2017 draft. If Rose does not end up on a contender, Sacramento would be a great option. At his price, with his injuries, the Kings might be the only option.
