Fresh off the conclusion of the 2017 NBA Finals, Jason Mann and Rich Kraetsch look at the best individual NBA Finals performances of all-time.

We begin with a look at three players who had standout performances in this year’s NBA Finals: Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Stephen Curry. Durant was named MVP of the 2017 NBA Finals with averages of 35.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game on 55.6 percent shooting from the field. James was just as dominant for the Cavaliers, becoming the first player in NBA history to average a triple-double in the Finals with 33.6 points, 12.0 rebounds and 10.0 assists per game, while Curry came close to averaging a triple-double himself with 26.8 points, 9.4 assists and 8.0 rebounds per game.

We then take a look at the best historical NBA Finals performances of all time including players such as Joe Fulks, George Mikan, Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, Walt Frazier, Bill Walton, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Tim Duncan, Shaquille O’Neal and Dwyane Wade.
