Notable Moments:

  • In the pre-title sequence, Bond fights Marco Sciarra in a helicopter over Zocalo in Mexico City.
  • Moneypenny brings Bond a box of his belongings, recovered from the wreckage at Skyfall. Among the belongings are his adoption paperwork and a childhood photo.
  • Bond travels to Rome to attend Sciarra’s funeral and then infiltrates a meeting held by a secret society. During the meeting, Bond witnesses a show of strength by a hired assassin (Mr. Hinx). At the meeting’s close, the leader (Blofeld) recognizes Bond’s attendance, saying,  “Welcome, James.”
  • Bond leads Hinx on a car chase through the streets of Rome.
  • Mr. White directs Bond to his daughter, Madeleine Swann, who runs a mountaintop health clinic in Austria.  However, shortly after Bond’s arrival, she is abducted by Hinx. Bond gives chase and saves her.
  • Madeleine leads Bond to Tangier, where her father had interrogated operatives in a secret room at L’Americain Hotel.
  • Hinx and Bond fight on board a train. As Hinx attempts to dispose of Bond, Madeleine saves him by shooting Hinx in the arm. Bond then finishes him off by attaching a set of chained barrels to him and knocking the barrels off the train.
  • Bond and Madeleine are taken to Spectre’s secret headquarters, in the middle of the Moroccan desert. They escape with the help of an exploding watch that Q had provided Bond earlier.
  • Bond saves Madeleine after Blofeld had imprisoned her in the abandoned MI6 headquarters, set for demolition. He then shoots down Blofeld’s helicopter. After the crash, on Westminster Bridge, Bond elects not to kill Blofeld, insisting he has “better things to do.”
