2017 FanSided NBA Network Mock Draft: Let the experts decide
By Staff
The first player the Atlanta Hawks worked out was none other than Jarrett Allen, whom Hawks staff had lunch and dinner with the same day. Major interest by the Hawks for Allen seems evident. With Paul Millsap and Dwight Howard perhaps aging out in Atlanta, the Hawks should feel the need to add more youth in their frontcourt to eventually replace Millsap or Dwight. Allen seems to be the perfect fit. He has great length, exceptional rim protection capability, a reliable mid-range jump shot and post floater with the size to play down low. Allen seems to have everything a team should want in a rotational big man, making this a big potential steal for the Hawks.
