$7,000-$8,000

Russell Knox ($7,800)
Russell Knox is the defending champion of this event, which obviously warrants his inclusion in our DraftKings fantasy golf picks. He was cut at the U.S. Open and has been inconsistent all season, though. Knox is a risk, but if you like course track record, it’s hard to look past a defending champion in this tournament.

Jamie Lovemark ($7,700)
The weekend was unkind for Jamie Lovemark at the second major as he played beautifully in the first two rounds. With that said, he’s a bit hitter that could attack this course in Connecticut this weekend. What’s more, his strong play overall this season speaks well to what he could do at the Travelers.

Xander Schauffele ($7,600)
People had been championing Xander Schauffele for some time coming into the U.S. Open, but I hadn’t seen it yet. Well, he showed it with a tied-fifth finish. There’s a worry about his consistency, but he could be a bit of a flier at this price-point on DraftKings.

Bud Cauley ($7,400)
I liked Bud Cauley coming into the U.S. Open and he definitely disappointed me in the tournament. With that said, he’s still sporting a strong season to date. Prior to the second major, he’d finished outside of the top 25 just once in his last five tournaments and in the top 10 three times. He’s a strong young player that could make a move this week.

Charley Hoffman ($7,300)
He’s going to be heavily owned at this price, but Charley Hoffman is playing great golf in 2017, especially coming out of the U.S. Open where he finished eighth. That’s his third top-10 finish this season and he’s been a cut-making machine. It’s hard not to like what he has to offer.

Byeong-Hun An ($7,100)
Byeong-Hun An was disappointing at the U.S. Open when he should’ve been able to take advantage. With that said, it’s hard to deny his 2017 season as a whole. That was his first missed cut this season and he had four-straight top-25 finishes prior to that. Things will likely take a turn towards that before they get worse for the South Korean.

Graham DeLaet ($7,100)
In terms of his finishes, Graham DeLaet has been somewhat all over the place. However, he’s got four top-10s and seemed to be hitting a groove last we saw of him. Perhaps that continues on a course that seems tailored to his game.
